David Lee

Born on July 21, 1975, in Jamaica, David Lee has always felt at home in the ocean. Under the guidance of his mother, Jan Lee, owner of the iconic  Lady G'Diver dive center, he took his first dive at the age of four. By eight, he was already exploring the realms of freediving and spearfishing.

Between 2000 and 2005, David set five world records in freediving's unassisted constant ballast category. His final record-breaking dive took him to an astonishing depth of 65 meters (213 feet) on a single breath, without the use of fins. Beyond his remarkable achievements in freediving, David has also embraced the exhilarating worlds of surfing, kitesurfing, and windsurfing—turning the ocean into his ultimate playground.

Eager to share the beauty and thrill of the underwater world, David developed a passion for photography and videography. Specializing in underwater media, he uses his talent to showcase the wonders of the deep.
